Evernote is available as a web, mobile and desktop app for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS devices. It is currently developing a Linux version. If you are on Evernote version 3.1.2 or earlier, or if you are using MacOS 10.6 (Snow Leapord), please use these instructions.Otherwise, proceed to 'If you are on Evernote 3.1.2 and running MacOS 10.7'.
